The Ladywell Tavern opened yesterday evening - albeit with still tacky, freshly varnished, bar surface and bare walls.
Welcome back - we've missed you!

Anyone been in their yet? From the outside looking in, it looks sterile with white walls and monochrome pictures on the walls. Hopefully the welcome from the new landlords will be warmer. Will try in the new year.
Have a happy Christmas. I was looking at one of your old posts about the Ladywell Baths. I passed there the other day and they looked very sad. What happened to the renovation plans? do you know?
Delighted it's back open..... The food is looking good.... There are teething problems, such as slow service as new staff get used to the till, an all that, but better to be open than not.... Stick in there.
Sorry just seen the question about the Ladywell Baths/Play Tower. The Council has now finished making it weather proof and is currently looking at how a wider site can be put together (i.e involving the Coroners Court and St Mary's Centre) to generate enough income to make renovation of the baths possible. the Trust that was formed for the Baths has unfortunately faltered as one of the member organisations has pulled out
